The Global Village of Languages in Malaysia has launched a training workshop for Arabic language teachers who will soon travel to the Republic of Burundi as part of the “Qafila” program, in collaboration with the International Istiqama Muslim Charitable Association. This flagship initiative is dedicated to promoting Arabic language education for non-native speakers across Africa.
Following the workshop, the teachers will head to Burundi to deliver the program on the ground through a carefully designed plan that emphasizes interaction, daily practice, and the use of modern teaching methods and resources. The initiative reflects the program’s vision of expanding the reach of the Arabic language and strengthening its global presence.
Running for two months, the Qafila program adopts an immersive approach to Arabic teaching, equipping participants with essential language skills through active engagement in listening, speaking, reading, and writing within a dynamic learning environment.
