MS Asia and ICESCO Sign Cooperation Agreement to Launch the Qafila Program for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers
The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) has signed a cooperation agreement with MS Asia Educational Services, represented by the Global Village of Languages, to launch the “Qafila” program for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers through a full-language immersion methodology in Southeast Asia.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Nidal Mohamed Abu Zahri, Director of Administrative Operations at ICESCO, and Dr. Mutawakkil Abdel Latif Al-Fadni, CEO of MS Asia. The project will run from July 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia.
The Qafila program, initiated by the Global Village of Languages under MS Asia, adopts an immersion-based approach that has already achieved remarkable results in previous missions carried out in Malaysia, Zanzibar, Uganda, and Kenya.
Objective: to provide an interactive immersive learning environment that accelerates language acquisition and strengthens its practical use in daily life, in line with the latest educational methods and practices.
Commenting on the agreement, the CEO of MS Asia stated: “This partnership reflects international recognition of our efforts and the impact of the Qafila program. It also reaffirms the effectiveness of the immersion model in enabling learners to acquire Arabic naturally and innovatively.”
This collaboration marks an important step toward promoting the Arabic language globally through modern educational methods, while also contributing to cultural and educational development in the region.
